Born and raised in South Bend, Indiana, Dave Weiss graduated from Purdue University with a degree in Construction Management. Since then, he has dedicated his professional life to designing and helping build the best homes in Indiana. Weiss Homes offers predesigned floor plans that clients can personalize with their own finishes and upgrades, but Dave Weiss has also worked in custom home plans and is looking to eventually re-enter that market. For now, though, he is driving the success of Weiss Homes one project at a time.

Because the housing market has declined since 2008, this is no small feat. Additionally, Weiss Homes closed the first quarter of 2011 up 60 percent from its numbers in 2010, an indication that the company is definitely doing something right in a down economy. The growth that Weiss Homes has experienced is due to the quality and value of the houses that it offers, and has prompted the company to hire 6 new sales professionals to help stimulate the growth in the area’s housing market. The company has also expanded and is now building in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
